This add-in was developed in response to the problems occuring in Visual Basic 6.0 involving interproject referencing. For many developers using multiple projects in their application, or project groups, the references between these projects have to be reestablished each time the projects are loaded using the "References" option from the "Project" pull-down menu. With larger applications which have many projects, and in turn, many references, this can become a rather noticable burden. With this add-in, however, VB programmers no longer have to concern themselves after having initially established working project references. This add-in requires absolutely no attention from the user. Once it's registered in the system, it automatically does it's job.
One stipulation on the efficiency of this program is that it cannot correct the references for projects which were loaded "read-only". Often times when working in a development environment using source code control such as MS Visual Source Safe, many of your projects might not be checked out, and therefore, cannot be modified. Our suggestion is to make your project files "writable" even if you don't check them out. There is no need, however, to change the source control status of any module within your project.
